Just keep swimming, just keep swimming 🎵

Warm weather is finally arriving to Paris this month. And you can refresh from the heat and enjoy the summer days in the Bassin de la Villette, on the 19th arrondissement in Paris, where there are four floating swimming pools within the Canal Saint-Martin. Admission is free and each pool has a different water depth to accommodate everyone, including the little ones and people with reduced mobility.

There are also other activities in the area like kayaking canoes and pedal boats.

The address is 40 Quai de la Loire, Paris 19e. From our hotel, take the RER A train in Val d’Europe station, and get off at Nation. In Nation connect with the Metro line 2, direction Porte Dauphine, and get off after 9 stops in Jaurès station.

A million splashes of colour!

Discover the colourful daytime show in Disneyland Paris, “A million splashes of colour!”

This spectacle has bright floats inspired in the art of storytelling. You’ll be able to sing along a mix of classic Disney songs and dance at the rhythm of Mickey and his friends like Pinocchio, Snow White, Timon, Rapunzel and many more! This energetic show is located right in the heart of the park at Central Plaza, in front of Sleeping Beauty castle. This limited time show premiered back in February this year and is showcasing until September 30th 2024.

Performances take place several times a day, so make sure to download the Disneyland Paris app to verify show times.

The festival dedicated to feminine creation

Rosa Bonheur was a French artist, and one of the most famous female painters and feminist of the 19th century. She is best known for her paintings of animals.

Festival Rosa Bonheur

This summer is the 5th edition of the festival Rosa Bonheur, located in the gardens of the château de Rosa Bonheur. It is a musical celebration of the feminine sisterhood and heritage. The program includes female musicians of genres like pop, folk, jazz, R’n’B, blues and more. There are 8 concert evenings during the month of August. For a full day experience you can visit the interiors of the castle, take a lovely brunch in the castle’s tearoom, and check the temporary exhibition by the sculptor Michel Bassompierre.
