A unique summer is waiting for us all, as we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy the Olympic season nearby. If you want to be part of the festivities without having a ticket to the events, the Team Elysée has you covered.
There are plenty of activities to enjoy the sportive and multicultural spirit, and the venue you cannot miss is The Hôtel de Ville (City Hall), right in the heart of Paris.
From July 20th – July 23rd and from July 27th – 11th August 2024, you’ll be able to celebrate the Olympic Games with free access at the “Terrasse des Jeux” with a cultural festival to join the party with activities dedicated for all, including children, seniors and people with reduced mobility.
There will be two giant screens with live broadcast of the competitions, a main stage with artistic live performances, six spaces designed to enjoy sport activities like a climbing wall and a running track. And we cannot forget the food offerings, ready to serve all tastes (vegan, halal, and gluten free options will be available).
To get there from our hotel you can take the RER A train in Val d’Europe station and get off at Châtelet-Les-Halles station. Once you arrive, Hôtel de Ville is 10 to 12 minutes walking distance.
With such an easy access from Hôtel L’Elysée Val d’Europe, this is a fun limited-edition experience if you’re planning to visit Paris city centre during your holidays.
The most magical nighttime show!
The most visited theme park in Europe, Disneyland Paris, makes us dream every single day, but on July 14th it goes above and beyond with France’s National Holiday celebration.
The Bastille Day nighttime show has the most epic, magnificent, delightful display, that you’ll remember for the rest of your life. There will be fireworks, projections in the castle, drones and music, celebrating the beloved French Disney characters and films.
You’ll cry tears of joy, and we will have the tissues prepared for when you come back to the hotel. Be our guest, be our guest, be our guest! 🎵

You can visit more than one castle during your stay
The fairytale experiences are all around. Every Saturday from 1st June to 28th September, the splendid Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte proposes their famous Candlelight evenings. An event where you can visit this historical castle from the 17th century, where several Hollywood films have been filmed like James Bond Moonraker, The Man with the Iron Mask with Leonardo DiCaprio, and Marie-Antoinette by Sofia Coppola. After your visit the stunning interiors, you can enjoy the gardens with baroque music for the occasion, 2000 candles, dancing water fountains, a champagne bar, and a spectacular fireworks show to close the evening.
The address is Château de Vaux-Le-Vicomte, 77950 Maincy. The ticket price to visit the castle, gardens and Candlelight evenings included is 17.50€ for children 6 to 17 years, and 22€ for adults. Children under 6 years old enter for free. Reservations are required, to reserve please visit their official website. To get there from our hotel it is 45 minutes by car (40 kilometres away) and parking is free.
