Italian Masterpieces at the Musée Jacquemart-André 🎨 The Musée Jacquemart-André is one of the most charming museums in Paris, with a vast art collection from the 18th century. Their permanent collection includes Rembrandt’s Pilgrims to Emmaus, Sandro Botticelli’s Virgin and Child and Donatello’s Martyrdom of Saint Sebastian, all displayed in elegant salons. The museum remained closed for more than a year due to restoration works and is ready to open this month.

To celebrate the reopening, in collaboration with Rome’s luxurious Galleria Borghese, you can visit the exceptional exhibition “Masterpieces from the Borghese Gallery”, that will bring to the heart of Paris around forty works of the finest Italian art from the 16th and 17th centuries by notorious artists like Raphael, Antonello da Messina, Veronese, Caravaggio, Bernini, etc.

Do not miss the opportunity to admire in the city of lights, the art from the eternal city, as these pieces quite rarely leave Rome.

Once you finish seeing the exhibition, you can relax and have a nice cup of tea and pastries in the museum’s tearoom Le Nélie or take a stroll around the peaceful gardens of Parc Monceau which are only five minutes away walking distance.

Temporary exhibition from September 6th 2024, to January 30th 2025, tickets are 18€ and it opens daily from 10am to 6pm and the last admission is 30 minutes before the museum closes.

To get there from our hotel simply take the RER A at Val d’Europe station, and after approximately 45 minutes get off at Charles de Gaulle – Étoile station (where the Arc de Triomphe is), from there you can either walk 15 minutes enjoying the beautiful Parisian surroundings in the meantime or take the bus 52 in direction to Opera and get off at
Haussmann – Courcelles.
